You clearly want the very worst for Britain. The government has only been in power for six months and yet you are praying for them to fail. It is very unpatriotic.

Party before country

That's why this country is screwed

This scummy excuse for a government are trying to undo Brexit. How dare they? It was democratically decided on and they had nothing in their manifesto to this effect.

I only wish they were (they are not). Brexit's been a disaster.

No they aren't

They should be - but no, they are not

They are just trying to behave like adults and have a more sensible relationship with our closest allies

And in return they are engaging with us again because they are no longer dealing with absolute f**kin idiots like Boris Johnson

The naivete on display here is astounding. What do you do think the EU wants for a better relationship with us, nothing? They are pushing Starmer for free movement again, the very reason we left. They have all the power in this relationship, so can demand what they want. Another reason why we left.

They should be /quote]
'Yes lets shaft our own people and overturn the most democratic decision in centuries and f**k the consequences'. And there are MPs in our government who think we should.

I only wish they were (they are not). Brexit's been a disaster.

Why do so many members of the EU want to leave? France and Germany have stirrings of discomfort. It's a total waste of money.

And yet, the government is not actually trying to reverse Brexit! So a few people are getting very hot and bothered over precisely nothing here.

So trying to subvert Brexit is ok? They are aiming for a Brexit in name only, while wheedling us back into a measure of EU control. 😠

Ho hum. Conspiracy theory time...

Eh? It's what they're actually negotiating with them right now. Starmer has been very up front about wanting a new Brexit deal. And we all know what that means.

We're out. We've left. Britain has been seriously and permanently damaged as a result. And nobody today is angrier about it than the people who voted for it.
Thanks a lot, Putin!

Brexit's been a disaster.

As oppose to the disaster of the totally lopsided membership of the EU that benefitted them greatly while swamping our country with several million low skilled immigrants that's made millions of us poorer, is killing tens of thousands every year because the NHS can't cope with the exponential rise in population; young Brits can't get anywhere to live because all the housing stock's gone to immigrants, gridlock on deteriorating roads because there over 4 million new vehicles on our roads than just 10 years ago.

You attempt to make EU membership sound like a utopian dream, when in reality it was a growing nightmare for us since 2005, and that's exactly why we left.

Most of those problems had nothing to do with EU membership (which did not, after all, begin in 2005!), hence why none of them have improved since.

Starmer is the No 1 prime minister - well at least in the pop charts.
'Freezing this Christmas' has topped the charts.

Warmer Starmer won't have heard it though, the 'net zero man will be on a jet going somewhere.

Once again, although they clearly have no inside knowledge of what's going on (any more than I do), they're naively happy to go along with the party line without question.

Whatever happened to good old fashioned healthy cynicism? Personally if Starmer ever told me anything, I'd automatically believe that the opposite was true.
