You're delighted he's the new president again. You wouldn't know what to do with yourself if he was out of the limelight. And you should be thankful too, he's way way more pro British than Biden was. The only drawback is, our PM isn't. đ
Quote: Chris Hallam @ 7th December 2024, 7:41 AMGet well soon, Teddy!
And from me, you obviously have the fighting spirit after all that Teddy, which helps.

Generally, Trump doesn't care about anything other than himself. He certainly isn't any more pro-British than Biden or Obama were. Trump's election is a massive headache for most democratic governments. It is the same for Starmer just as it would have been for Sunak.
I see Angela no-brayner is showing herself up with contradictions and none answering of direct questions.
She's a treat to watch.

That's all though. Watch but don't listen.

I think your personal dislike of Trump might be blinding you somewhat here, as it's well reported he's an anglophile and a huge fan of the Royal family. He is much more pro British than either yes, he is proud of his Scottish heritage and has his golf course there. He reinstated Churchill's bust in the White House after Obama removed it and I'm sure he'll do so again after Britain hater Biden again removed it. Biden was the most anti UK president in living memory.
We should be delighted pro Brexit, pro Britain Trump is the the new US president. Alas, we now don't have a pro Brexit, pro business, pro Trump PM to benefit from that.

And he raped a woman in a department-store

Well, he felt up the Queen. I'm not sure that's the same thing as being a huge fan of the Royal Family.
Even if he is pro-British (which he really isn't), we have snakes like Nigel Farage and Elon Musk poisoning our relationship with the US for their own nefarious ends.

In the run-up to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, he also said that President Putin had "shown a maturity of which we can only dream of".
It's a right-wing myth that Obama and Biden are in any way anti-British. Anglo-US relations were notably worse under Trump than they were under Obama or Biden. Now Trump is coming back, relations are becoming strained again, as his plans for massive tariffs are likely to cause big problems for the UK if they ever happen. Trump ally Elon Musk also seems to be dedicated to bringing down the UK government.
The stuff about the Churchill busts is famously a load of balls! It's explained here:

Trump dislikes NATO and disagreed with the UK over Iran, climate change and China . He irritated and offended the Queen during his visit to the UK and pissed off Scotland with his golf course.
With friends like him, who needs enemies?

They've also just recruited that billionaire property developer (that'll show the Elites!) who was dancing his socks off at the infamous No 10 Lockdown party.
Reform's "Arse-Hole Of The Year" Award looks like being a close run thing this season..
Though my money's still on Lee Anderson for this gem.

And why was there a Battle of the Somme?
Did some women fall out and declare war on each other?
Or was it idiotic men AGAIN ?
God , he is unbelievably stupid
