I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,863

You're the one that said it??

Except the ones on here who have 'far right sympathies' ?

The riots were stirred up by the far right, specifically.

Having sympathy for their concerns such as uncontrolled immigration, and having sympathy for some of their harsh sentencing does not equate to having 'far right sympathies' as that suggests an affinity with Nazism.

This label has been struck by the hard left, many of whom are more Nazi like in being pro actively and violently anti semitic than most involved in the recent riots.

Racism from either side is deplorable.

But one sort is policed very loosely and one very harshly. Strange, that.

Though some of you with Far Right sympathies may disagree...

I don't think anyone on here stirred up any riots. Despite what you and others here on the far left might allege.

Untrue.

I did not allege that. Nor am I on the far left.

You never come up with any evidence of this, actual proper data, other than anecdotal stuff that carries no weight. Get back to me with some facts, Kipper, not just tired old pish-posh that gets repeated on twitter feeds.

So who exactly are you accusing, on here, of having far right sympathies? And, if it's not for "stirring up riots", on what grounds?

Tommy Robinson sent down for 18 months

"In addition to receiving an 18 month sentence, Stephen Lennon has been ordered to pay the costs of the Solicitor General's office, added to his own legal fees, this amounts to about Β£100,000"

Spot the difference:

Starmer disregarding the principle of the separation of powers back in the summer:

"The police will be making arrests. Individuals will be held on remand. Charges will follow. And convictions will follow." "You are likely to be dealt with within a week."

Starmer conveniently respecting the principle of the separation of powers today:

"There is now a police investigation and in the circumstances you will appreciate there's not much more I can say about that."

Not really sure what you're getting so confused about.

I think the threat of civil unrest has to be handled a little more urgently than an individual case of common assault.
You don't - and that's fine.
But it's his decision to make. And he felt message needed to be sent.
Ironically, Starmer was initially castigated for not 'doing something' sooner.
It's almost as if those unhappy about Labour getting into power were going to criticise Starmer whatever he did...

Not confused at all. I thought it was a simple enough question.
