I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,850

No, I believe every 'fact' that has been presented.
I'm just not unduly worried about it.
And not 'blind devotion' at all - as previously posted, I believe the way they've handled the WFA is clumsy.
.

Tories sending thousands of pensioners to their deaths during covid , because, well they're old and gonna die soon anyway - was clumsy

Neutral doesn't mean you can't comment when you see hypocrisy from any side.
I'm seeing plenty. Even true red Labour voters and supporters are seeing it.

When have you pointed out hypocrisy by the Tory side then?

Every politician is a hypocrite. It's in the job description.

Keir Starmer admits taking £20,000 donation to help son with his GCSEs

Isn't it about time he resigned in disgrace?

Perfectly legal.
And he declared it - he didn't 'admit' it.
Push for a change in the law, by all means (see my earlier post) but this is not, by any definition, a resignation issue.

No no no lol

He will be the best PM this country has had in decades

"People said we couldn't change the party, but we did. People said we wouldn't win across Britain, but we did. People say we can't deliver national renewal, but we can and we will"

"Mark my words: we will deliver "

Keep up the good work Sir Keir

This guy on the other hand is very dodgy ....

Jenrick declared £137,000 in donations in the latest register of MPs interests (published late on Friday. The perfect time to avoid prying eyes....)

Among Jenrick's supporters is a small company called the Spott Fitness Ltd, which gave the would-be Tory leader two donations of £25,000 each in July.

There's something curious about the Spott Fitness: since being incorporated in December 2020, the company has never turned a profit.

Its most recent accounts show that the company - which is owned by lawyer Mark Dembovsky - has no employees and net current liabilities of £330,000.

The Electoral Commission has previously called for electoral law to be changed so companies can only donate from UK profits.

It's not the first (or even the second) time that Jenrick has taken money from a loss-making firm in recent months. As this newsletter revealed in May, Jenrick accepted £40,000 from two companies that were not making a profit in the UK, including a firm owned by Israeli billionaire Idan Oder.

Jenrick was ultimately forced to amend his register of interests after he took money from a dormant company.

Vote in haste - repent at your leisure.

It's funny how the top 3 in Labour can gobble up thousands in freebies but anyone else is a criminal.
It's not as if they were using it for campaigning funds, more like for their own personal pleasure.
You lot think it's going well - I beg to differ.

Starmer promises 'light at the end of the tunnel'

As far as I can see, it has gone out already

From what I'm reading, there is more dirty washing coming out - and it's not bungs.

The tories completely broke Britain - every aspect has been completely broken- NHS , prisons, social care, transport, immigration, energy, the economy, cost of living - everything

Anyone who thinks a new regime can take over and wave a magic wand and make all this mess magically disappear in a matter of mere months - is a fool

Bitter fools that can't accept they lost the election and now desperately want Labour to fail

Very immature

I am sure there are people digging furiously as we speak.
A lot of people's noses have been put badly out of joint and they know this government is going to pursue policies that aren't in their favour.
Let them do their worst, I say.
(Does the phrase "You lost - get over it." mean nothing to them?)
Meanwhile Labour can get on with sorting the country out.

It's no good just coming back with examples of Tory sleaze & greed to counter every example of Labour sleaze & greed. That's not the argument.

We know all about that. That's why the electorate kicked them out.

They kicked them out because Starmer promised higher standards in government. But they are clearly not fulfilling that promise. That's the argument.

Maybe not this time but there will be one.

Well Cameron began the whole process of breaking Britain with his outrageous austerity - I.e. making normal people pay the price for the bankers wrecking the economy- then quit when he lost a referendum (that he only held to sort out Tory infighting - again now normal people are paying the price for that idiocy too)

May was forced out by her own party after she barely scraped a GE win against Corbyn - yes, she was THAT popular she had to give tax payers money to the DUP to bribe them to prop them up

Boris "Let the bodies pile high" Johnson- kicked out by his own party for being an incompetent liar - a PM that stood up in parliament and lied through his back teeth

Liz Truss..... worst prime minister in the entire history of this nation , not even up for debate. Astonishing that such a complete moron had access to the nuke codes

Sunak - such a fine PM he was far, far more concerned with sitting in an ITV studio , than spending time with war veterans on their big day

Starmer is already 1000 times better than that bunch of incompetent, sleazy, lying, self serving scumbags- put together
