Nobody ever said criticising women is in itself misogynistic.

So you've finally come round to my way of thinking. People do eventually I find. It took a time but...

In any case, as I say, you've really misunderstood the definition of "misogyny" and "sexism". These both involve the hatred/abuse/belittling of women (plural) in general. Not a comment about just one woman.

And when complaints were raised about Al Fayed who was chief of the CPS?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2k9ggjdjdo

But he'll say he wasn't responsible for that particular case. Like he did about Savile. Even though he was supposedly in charge.

Like he will do when the country goes bankrupt and all the criminals are back on the streets.

So...they are going to stop accepting freebies.
If I was given £17K's worth of suits, (sorry, work clothing) I'd be set for a few years too.
We need some of you fervent pollsters to tell us how he is doing.

Roll on July 2029!

Labour don't need any advice on sleaze from the tories 🤣

these criminals are upto their neck in billions of pounds worth of shit ...

"In her speech, Reeves will say: "Billions of pounds of public money handed out to friends and donors of the Conservative party. Billions more defrauded from the taxpayer.

"On entering government, we found £674m of [personal protection equipment] PPE contracts in dispute, where we inherited a recommendation from the previous government that contract recovery should be waived.

"So we are delivering on our commitment to appoint a Covid corruption commissioner. It could not be more urgent. And I have put a block on any contract being abandoned or waived until it has been independently assessed by the Covid commissioner."

Tick tock...

The clothes thing will blow over.
If I were them I'd put it into law, that, along with 2nd jobs MPs can't accept gifts in a kind.
Sweeten in it with a bit of a pay-rise so the non-independently wealthy aren't driven out of parliament.
After all this faux outrage (at what they themselves have been doing for decades)Tories would have to vote for it - through greeted teeth - even though they have way more to lose than Labour MP's.
Would make for delicious viewing.

I never said otherwise. You had no influence.

They're relatively low paid but maybe MPs pay should mainly be on attending Parliament.

To be honest, the bulk of their job should be in their constituency, that's who voted for them - so a combination of attending meetings and clinics locally and attending the HoP wouldn't be a bad idea.
Farage would be f**ked.

Farage has stated he doesn't intend doing any clinics in his constituency as he doesn't want to get stabbed by his constituents

(Not joking)

Ah, the old two wrongs make a right excuse.
Especially when they add 'they did it worse.
What is it? 3 months in office and scandals abound all through the party.
Perhaps there isn't much difference except the name.

"Records show that Prime Minister Keir Starmer has received more than £16,000 for clothes and glasses from Lord Waheed Alli, a Labour party donor."

Versus...

Value of declared donations, gifts and other earnings of politicians.

In 2019 Parliament :
Boris Johnson £6.4m.
Theresa May £3.5m.
Liz Truss £1.1m.

I agree entirely. Millionaires and their millionaire wives should be entitled to any bribes - sorry gifts - that they are given.

Scandals abound in the press.

Blind devotion, you can't beat it.
It's the press, cons were worse, the cons made us do it.
It's the excuses of a 7-year-old boy caught stealing, except you choose to believe them.

No, I believe every 'fact' that has been presented.
I'm just not unduly worried about it.
And not 'blind devotion' at all - as previously posted, I believe the way they've handled the WFA is clumsy.
I 'm just happy that we have a government that is pushing things in a general direction that I believe in.
As opposed to the opposite, as was the case before.
I must say, for a 'neutral', you're taking this change of government very badly.
