I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,644

It's not just him though

E.g.
The newly elected MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip, Steve Tuckwell, has been an administrator for Facebook groups urging more people to join in Ulez camera destruction - groups hosting racist abuse of Sadiq Khan, such as "he hates our way of life thats why he's destroying London along with his muslim friends in County Hall"

I wonder how our GDP is going after brexit and covid.

Somewhat worse than France and Italy's, according latest figures.
We recently found a new way of wrangling the numbers that puts us above Germany.
So there's that.

Not as good as it would have been , without Brexit

lol.
Keep up boys.
I find it strange that you want bad news for the UK to be smug.

Funny though isn't it?!

When it's 'bad news' , it's just remainer doom mongers and it's definitely nonsense

When it's 'good news' it's 100% proof that everything is hunky dory and Brexit has been a resounding success

It would be helpful if we had the actual facts

Anyway ask the ordinary man in the street if they are feeling the benefits of this GDP growth

Do you have the evidence for that?

Ask them what is different too and how they have suffered.
That's the nonsense.
It strikes me that lefties are doom and gloom and righties are optimistic.
Glass half..............and all that.
You revel in misery.

Not for long, though, eh?

It affects far more than 10% of the cars registered as being kept in London, that 10% figure is the dodgy data of the mayor's men, data recorded by just 160 cameras placed ONLY on the main roads in & out of London. I.e it didn't really account for all the inter-area visits where the outer occupants use car for things like local shopping & taking kids to school etc, which are probably the bulk of the actual real trips in outer London and which occur because the bus services in outer London are far more sparse than inner London and many routes were cut recently.

The £2000 assistance is only available to those on benefits, but existing owners of non-compliant vehicles, probably have old cars which are worth around £500 whereas the (in short supply) compliant second hand cars typically cost over £8000. They can't afford their gas & electricity, rent & food bills, let alone find another £6000 to buy a compliant vehicle.

I don't know what pollution scale Khan uses but I daily look at the MET OFFICE daily forcasts and I've never seen their pollution tag read obove L for Low.

Read the court cases: for more info on the ULEZ situation, see these BBC articles.

Or going to the Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital in Belmont.

So, two schools in Suffolk have been closed with RAAC, both built by a construction company that has gone broke - how convenient.
I wonder what the name of the new company is that those directors have started up again.

Isn't it about time something was done to close this loophole, as it is a crime - being tantamount to theft imo.

Couldn't agree more.
The whole system is designed to benefit crooks.
Try to change it and people whine about 'discouraging entrepreneurs" and "stifling business".
(They whine, because usually they're up to their own filthy necks in it)
And the whole procurement system itself needs investigating - the old 'brown envelope' is alive and well in County Halls up and down the country - no matter their political.. persuasion.
People see it's a council job and rub their hands in glee - the amount of criminality around the pandemic alone was eye-watering.
But there's always some f**ker making a buck.

Apparently loads of hospitals are full of this cut price shitty concrete too

But there's always some f**ker making a buck.

Much was made of the luxury apartments that were developed on the waterfront (read docks), but now in one block all the tenants have had to move out because of the cladding, leaving them with accommodation they have poured £thousands into, and now have mortgaged up to the hilt properties they cannot sell.
Councils responsibility? Developers responsibility? NO on both counts, so now they are expecting the leaseholders to foot the bill.

It's nothing short of obscene

Well done India! And now I hope we can continue to send them more financial aid so they can send a rocket to Mars.
