It's called due process.

With respect, f**k Due Process in this instance - these are criminals who have falsely claimed asylum from a country that is (reasonably) stable, and have no right to live here.

They should have been sent back immediately.

Do you mean f**ked Due Process ? As in wasting money on hotels and exploiting vulnerable people for votes ?

How do we know your above assessment is true?
It may well be - I'm not denying the strong possibility - but it has to be established.
The govt need to get on with it and speed the process up.
But there has to be a process - that's what makes this country better than Albania.

This one's been charged because of the extreme personal dislike of the man by his opponents, and in revenge for his outspoken attacks on them. It's a vendetta they wouldn't take against any other president.

That was Nixon's defence too. It wasn't true then either. In the end, he only escaped jail because Gerald Ford pardoned him.
Trump is accused of far worse. Nixon, for all his faults, never attempted to overturn a democratic election result or incite a civil insurrection, for example.

There will be no whitewash in the Whitehouse..........yes, that's it (picks up tape recorder microphone 'testing testing')

Not sure I got that one.

Pleasing day for the Progressives among us.
And it's not over yet!

Police are being urged to investigate a "potential breach of the law" after footage appeared to show Boris Johnson appealing to Tory supporters from a moving car while not wearing a seatbelt.

In a video circulating on social media, the former prime minister is heard urging Derbyshire Conservatives to "get as many people as possible to turn out and vote for us" ahead of the local elections.

The clip, which lasts 42 seconds and appears to be self-recorded, shows Mr Johnson delivering an optimistic message to party advocates from what looks to be the backseat of a moving vehicle.

He does not seem to be wearing a seatbelt, prompting the Liberal Democrats to call for a police investigation.

Gormless idiot šŸ¤£

I'm pretty sure Boris Johnson does this sort of nonsense on purpose, just so his nutty right wing supporters can claim it's all part of an establishment MSM plot against him.

"Fwaaa waa fwaa seat belts ?? Stuff n nonsense waaa fwaaaa! "

It's called due process.
They're in a hotel because the government is being really slow (on purpose?) in processing them.
If found to have failed, on whatever grounds, they would be sent back.
But the government are in no hurry.
For the time being it keeps the vote-winning "immigration" pot boiling.
And they know it's a problem they will be handing over to Labour in about 18 months time.
The chart below shows the problem.

Well that's not surprising but I hope you're not going to blame that on the Government or Brexit.

Not Brexit (though it has complicated matters slightly)
But absolutely it's the governments fault.

The government has allowed animal testing for makeup ingredients to resume despite a 25-year ban.
It changed a policy on animal testing to align with EU chemical rules, according to a High Court ruling.
The High Court said on Friday that the government was acting legally after a case was brought by animal rights activists.
More than 80 brands have said they are "dismayed" by the government's new position.

The 'nasty' party are going down swinging

The tories have been saying they expect to lose 1000 councillors - presumably so that when it's only around 800 they can claim it wasn't as bad as everybody thought it was going to be after all

They got something right for the first time in a decade

What? For allowing billions of migrants to cross the channel in boats?
