I don't think we have such a thing here

Nicola Sturgeon says Trans women are women except if they are criminal women.

The wee birdie is getting her knickers in a serious twist

Nicola Sturgeon says Trans women are women except if they are criminal women.

I watched the "car crash" interview.
She actually said "trans women are women" but they had "no automatic right" to serve their sentences in female prisons.
It's a mess, I grant you, but no need to misquote her.

This photo ID for voting is a waste of time. There's enough electoral fraud with postal votes so what is the point?

Voting by post will increase, marginally, because you don't need photo ID for this.
It's a con (by the Cons, of course)
There we 164 examples of voter fraud at the 2019 election - out of about 30 million.
It's not an issue - it's completely made-up.
An estimated 2 million voters would be disenfranchised if a vote was held tomorrow.
This group skews towards young, low/no income and immigrant communities.
Old persons railcard count, student railcards don't.
Spotted the pattern yet?
You can apply for free ID, but it's complicated.
What once was a given birth-right now has hurdles in the way.
It's anti-democratic.
Quelle suprise.

She did better than Starmer though, He doesn't know what constitutes a woman.

Plus due to the boundary changes, the tories could finish BEHIND Labour in a GE, and still be the "largest party"

Apparently

Anyway if your name is on the electoral role - it should be your right to vote

What I'm saying is with postal votes how do you know it's the will of the actual person and not some member of their family who thinks they know better.

It says nothing about railcards in the link that DaButt provided. In any case my railcard does not contain a photo.

Mine does.

Mine does.

This is how mine looks:

Anyway the point is that it is not included as acceptable photo ID on he website in question.

Neither, incidentally, does my driving licence have a photo. And my passport runs out in September. So I could be stymied come election time.

Well that wouldn't as you say it doesn't have a photo. Mine is a Freedom Pass courtesy of Sadiq Khan.

You're right.
It's Over-60's bus passes.
And student bus passes don't count.

The only voting fraud in this country is perpetrated by those standing for election.
