So it's come to this...

German tanks , GERMAN, rolling through the territory that used to be the Soviet Union

The last time they did they were going from village to village butchering and slaughtering everything in their paths

Not saying it's wrong - just bloody scary

I is sure you is illeterit.....innit

Zahawi...

Sacked!

How careless

The utter contempt this lot have for the rest of us is breath-taking.

They rule for the Conservative party - not for the country

It's always about what's best for them first and foremost

Raab, you're next you odious slimeball

P.s. Zahawi will be back in a cabinet post in about....ooh.. 3 months..?

Will he bother?
He's a very rich man and I'm not sure he'll want to be part of the next election.

This photo ID for voting is a waste of time. There's enough electoral fraud with postal votes so what is the point?

The point should be to ensure that elections are free, fair, and unimpeachable. Any person, party, or organization which stands in the way of such efforts should be regarded with great suspicion.

So if you don't have a drivers licence or a passport (such people do actually exist - and IMO are more likely to be labour voters) - you aren't allowed to vote in a democratic general election?

I can't speak for the UK, but the same weak argument is offered here. Even in the red state of Texas, it's easy to obtain a free ID that can be used for voting. The number of voting-eligible citizens without a photo ID is exceedingly small. Such identification is required to get on a plane, open a bank account, purchase alcohol, enroll in school, enroll in government benefits programs, etc.

I don't think we have such a thing here

Anyway if your name is on the electoral role - it should be your right to vote
