I've solved it.

1. We put the entire deficit on Boris Johnson (currently at 27/1).
2. Give BJ a shoe-in
3. We give him a couple of billion to f**k off.
4. He calls a General Election.

Everyone's a winner, babe.

Senior Truss ministers are being accused of " physically manhandling' Tory MPs" . I guess now they've closed down the Westminster pedo ring, it's all they've got left.

Chip on your shoulder much, lofty?
.

Yep.

Yeah, this one's for the workers who toil night and day
By hand and by brain to earn your pay
Who for centuries long past for no more than your bread
Have bled for your countries and counted your dead
In the factories and mills, in the shipyards and mines
We've often been told to keep up with the times
For our skills are not needed, they've streamlined the job
And with sliderule and stopwatch our pride they have robbed
We're the first ones to starve the first ones to die
The first ones in line for that pie-in-the-sky
And always the last when the cream is shared out
For the worker is working when the fat cat's about
And when the sky darkens and the prospect is war
Who's given a gun and then pushed to the fore
And expected to die for the land of our birth
Though we've never owned one lousy handful of earth?
We're the first ones to starve the first ones to die
The first ones in line for that pie-in-the-sky
And always the last when the cream is shared out
For the worker is working when the fat cat's about

All of these things the worker has done
From tilling the fields to carrying the gun
We've been yoked to the plough since time first began
And always expected to carry the can

Love the poem. I was brought up northern working class, so my school friends bash the middle classes. My Uni mates bash the working classes, assuming I must be middle class. Isn't the class system a bit out of date ? We have so many more subgroups and categories to chose from these days, for those that enjoy tribalism.

It's Ed Pickford's most popular I think. If you have to work for a wage to live you are a member of the working class, no matter what you do.

Liz Truss set to rake in taxpayers' cash on departure from No10 - with a £20,000 payout and a £115k annual allowance - following her resignation as PM after just 44 days in office

Ah our wonderful democracy

You wreck the countries economy in 6 weeks and so are forced to pack your bags and bugger off

And for that you get richly rewarded- with yet more of our f**king money

Someone pinch me and wake me up

Surely this country can't be the absolute sodding joke it seems to be right now???

I watched some GB News last night. It was exhausting trying to keep up with all the conspiracy theory buzz words. MSM. The Blob. Globalists. Remoaners, etc.... No wonder the Tories are in such trouble with these crackpots feeding their delusions.

I don't think the BBC News has been the source of the trouble somehow! How about er... the Tories themselves?
Partygate. The mass resignations. Johnson's fall. Truss's election. The disastrous mini budget. The u turns. The further resignations. The fracking vote chaos. Truss's fall.
None of these things can be blamed on the BBC!

Come on Boris, come on Boris...

Come on Boris, come on Boris...

No chance! Even the Tories aren't that stupid!

Even the Tories aren't that stupid!

They self-evidently are.
They're a pretty rancid bunch - those that booted him out will suddenly be his best mate.
In all honesty I think it's down to whether he thinks he can pull it off.
He's a lazy f**ker and might not fancy the odds.
If it goes to the members, he'll get in - they didn't vote for the brown one before, they won't vote for him again.
Then, if they find against him at The Privileges Committee, we have to do it all again.
Happy Christmas.

Well, if I'm going to miserable, I may as well be right.
Johnson will get this.
Tory MP's who'd resigned - telling him his behaviour had bought the party into disrepute - are backing him.
Soulless c***s
