I just saw Berlusconi on the news. His face looks plastic and does he dye his hair? He's 85!
I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,471
Turns out Sunak is a pretty sharp cookie after all
He said for weeks that Truss' economic plans were , basically a pile of absolute bollocks
And he was right!
Who'd a thunk it ..
I read the news today and I've summed it up like this:
Yougov poll has Labour 17 points ahead
Their biggest labour lead ever
We all filled that poll in.
Caught a glimpse of some pinko woman (Cooper?) prattling on to the throng and all she was spouting on about was slagging off Boris for his misdemeanours, and I thought - is that it. Is that all you can come up with. The same old historical moan. I'm surprised she didn't drag Thatcher into it.
So much for what Labour was going to do. Just, ias usual a la knob Starmer and nothing about what they had to offer.
PATHETIC........
Looks like Hurricane Ian has its sights set on my hometown. Hurricane Charley destroyed tens of thousands of buildings there in 2004, a few years after I'd moved away, but I hope this storm will prove to be less destructive.
This video was filmed in 2004 from the side of my favorite pub (it stayed open as the upper floor collapsed and blew away in 145 MPH winds). I tried to embed a link to the "good" part, but it didn't seem to work, so skip ahead to the 38-ish minute mark.
Great Labour conference so far.
Rupa Huq suspended for racist comments
Angy not answering questions
Lammy won't comment on the racist remarks.
What will today bring?
I wonder if the Kwasi-gang listen to the IMF, or just blunder on and destroy the economy?
What do you think of the racist comments?
They were racist.
That's why she's suspended, with high likely-hood of expulsion.
That's how you deal with racists.
The Tories just make them Prime Minister.
