I read the news today oh boy! Page 245

Shit - that's scary.

First edition of Orwell's 1984 found in charity bin: http://asia.news.yahoo.com/afp/20101014/ten-australia-britain-literature-history-1dc2b55.html
Upsetting that a charity shop worker identified it as a rarity and put it aside for auction, rather than sell it in the shop for $1 to the likes of me.

The Daily Mail has a nice article on McDonald's. Nothing new, but still: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1319562/McDonalds-Happy-Meal-bought-Sally-Davies-shows-sign-mould-6-months.html

Nom.

It's disconcerting that this 'food' doesn't decompose properly, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing; honey doesn't ever seem to go bad, and no-one is shocked by that.

She shouldn't be wasting food.
Think of the homeless!

Maybe it's McDonald's honey that never goes bad. I was speaking to some bees last week and they said -. Actually, I recently discovered an ancient jar of 'sandalwood' honey at the back of the pantry and it had nearly completely crystallized, which was slightly resolved by putting the jar in a saucepan of boiling water for a bit.

F**k's sake.

I often forget that some other countries are still so retarded.

He should've faced prison here of course (for murder), but it would never happen.

He's still on trial at the Old Bailey, so he may yet be imprisoned in England - unless he's a senior enough royal to get diplomatic immunity - or he could be extradited to serve his sentence back home; unlikely though if he'll be killed for being queer.

Hope not.

Well, that's something I suppose.

Why does Graham Norton pop up. Is he being executed too?

If he goes on holiday to Saudi bloody Arabia.

The Sun's URL is pretty funny.

I'm trying to imagine what a "gay execution" looks like.

Axeman in a Versace hood? Village People firing squad?
