I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,397

You always talk of majorities, and things like 'most people.
If that were true, they'd be elected.
Change it to 'some and you'd be nearer the mark.

It is true.

2016 US
Donal Trump 62,984,828 votes
Hilary Clinton. 65,853,514 votes

2019 UK
Conservatives 13,941,086 votes
Progressives (Lab, LibDem, Green) 14,211,823 votes
I've not included the other 1.830,350 who also didn't want Boris, but voted on more national lines.

The reason they were elected is the system - not because most people wanted them.

Lol. I bet you have that as a macro labeled proof of injustice.

You lose the bet, sadly.
I don't even know what a macro is, if I'm honest.
I would be interested in why you feel the system is fair, though.

Funny you should say that. I once sat directly behind one of those gentlemen - I forget which - at Plough Lane when Wimbledon played Everton. And Michael Foot when they played Plymouth. And mingled with Jack Straw on Blackburn railway station after a match. It's probable that their politics rubbed off on me.

Yus.

Oh you should learn how to use them. You'd get your whining done in half the time?

Once again, no intelligent response or counter arguement.
Just rudeness.
I'll mark that down as a win, then.

:D

Before his electrocution lessons, Jacob Rees-Mogg sounded like Arthur Mullards.

According to my mate.

Did he go to the same electrocution teacher as Michael Gove? https://twitter.com/i/status/1524298596224577536

Ironically (or not) "Gove" & "Cocaine" are currently trending on Twitter...

Do you mean the person who was born Michael Glove-Puppet?

That Tory MP who said the reason we have Food Banks is because people can't cook!!
What does he think they give out at Food Banks?
Dry goods, vegetables - a tin of soup or corned beef, maybe.
And the reason a lot of root veg gets passed up is simple.
They can't afford the electricy/gas to heat the bastards up.

Every day the Tories show their real colours , this man is not alone in his assertions its just that the other ones know to keep it for when they're in their clubs.

They keep playing the same game.
Someone says something to stir up the gammons.
Govt. quietly "distance" themselves - but the thought is still out there, festering & stirring up hate.
Nasty stuff.
