You know what the thought did...

Something about feathers?

On a slightly more hilarious note, in the latest shuffle in The Bunker, Jacob Rees-Mog has been made Minister for Brexit Opportunities.
Talk about a hospital pass...

This is how Boris rewards his loyal followers.

Given that Rees Mogg is in a unique roll, and as such has no precedents in relation to the brief. Wouldn't it be useful for his office to present monthly achievements reports . That way we sceptics can be shown how well things are going? Who knows we could be proved wrong which would be win win as we all benefit if it works.

Everyone's going on about that awful Jimmy Carr ''''joke'''' and the audience reaction... Well, the reaction doesn't mean much because filmed shows always milk the crowd. I'm a huge fan of Jimmy and he's been pushing it for years. In fact, he's the only comedian I've seen who can actually offend me: that 'New Foundation for Battered Wives - Great, Covers Up the Bruises' line was too much even for me... But that's his thing, and he is, in the words of Sylvia Plath, f**king awesome at it. I reckon this is just the woke movement's opportunity - like when the USA went crazy over the Beatles and then ritually burnt the albums over John's 'bigger than Jesus' quip. I didn't like this line either and I don't think it's a particularly clever technique anyway - just say something and then follow it up with the opposite - but after 64976258 awesome gags from Jimmy, I'll forgive him the occasional blurp. I find Mr Moonlight horrible, but I still listen to The Beatles. Jimmy is a f**king legend. And if you hate him, then I kindly ask you to stand up in front of a f**king audience and knock 'em out like Bob Monkhouse on speed for 2 hours. End of.

Sorry but anyone who thinks there is any humour at all to be found in the holocaust is just a c**t

I didn't like it either. I just feel it's that kinda Lennon-Jesus moment. He's done six billion awesome gags and I'm not switching off over one f**kup.

I agree. But are we making too much of fuss about people making too much of a fuss ?

Jeff Lynne refuses to support the Feather Party. He says, I won't back down.

I like that some of the people making a fuss are Nadine Diorries and assorted Tories who regularly rail against cancel culture and wokery ruining comedy.

Least convincing ever use of the word 'sorry'.

I didn't like that joke from that comedian, so I'm moving along - isn't a thing anymore?
More like ' I didn't watch the show, I knew nothing of it but I read it was a horrible joke, so please join me in trying to get him banned from all TV and circuit tours.
I don't want to hear third hand he told another horrible joke ever again.

And speaking out on this will be inevitably be used against them when they attack cancel culture again. You'd think their secretaries would be able to remind them that they've already compromised their stance on censorship on such and such a date. Best keep quiet Maam.

Including Roseanne Barr?

Reese Mogg will have his work cut out for him in his new role since The Public Accounts Committee released a report today saying Brexit has led to increased costs, paperwork and border delays. Go Brexit!

None of these people, especially Nadine Dorries, have a coherent well reasoned position or stance. They just deal in knee jerk rhetoric and clickbait talking points.

Or Roberto Benigni https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_Is_Beautiful

No.
I know I was being satirical.
I thought I was being funny.

Satire, Sarcasm etc hardly ever work on on-line forums.
