Do you mean that bloke you were scornful about for a year?
I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,292
Quote: lofthouse @ 26th May 2021, 5:49 PMSo it's now straight from the horses mouth that Boris is a total buffoon - a lying inept fool
His covid plan has been "terrifyingly shit"
Ok credit where it's due , the vaccination roll out has been very good- but everything else has been an absolute shambles
One of the PMs own ex advisers - saying that this governments blunders have caused tens of thousands of needless deaths
Idiots in the cabinet, not having a clue what to do and lying through their teeth to the public constantly
" It's completely crackers Boris Johnson is prime minister"
What a bloody shower
So you believe Cummings?
Oh, no - he's still a massive c**t.
But so was the mafioso who put down John Gotti.
Bojo crossed his Brexit fixer and now the rat's turned on him.
If it wasn't for the 1000's of avoidable deaths it would be funny.
It'll be annoying for Boris if he has to sack Matt Hancock, though.
They were saving that particular sacrificial lamb for next years enquiry.
"Idiots in the cabinet, not having a clue what to do and lying through their teeth to the public constantly"
But you could say that about every UK government.
The fact so many people had to endure seeing their very elderly mothers and fathers DIE as a result of this atrocious government is one of the saddest and most horrendous episodes in living memory. Absolutely unforgivable.
"In one of the most egregious allegations, Cummings claimed Hancock lied to the PM about testing hospital patients for Covid before being charged to care homes.
After coming out of hospital following his own bout with Covid, Johnson was said to be furious that untested patients were being sent to care homes in England, allowing the virus to spread among some of the most vulnerable people.
Cummings concluded: "Now all the government rhetoric of 'we put a shield around care homes' and blah blah, was complete nonsense.
"Quite the opposite of putting a shield around them, we sent people with Covid back to the care homes."
Cummings is taking no prisoner's and he'll rue the day.
Who will employ a known rat.
It sounds less than whistle blowing and more like spite.
He's even changed his story about his infamous trip.
The right to reply will be very interesting.

I should imagine there'll be plenty of people ready to deny everything.
I'm not arsed what gets said as most of it is already known or suspected and blame has already been apportioned based on your politics.
Its not new either as thousands are said to have died at Stalin's funeral as people pushed and shoved in order to pay their last respects to their Uncle Joe as they no doubt will for Uncle Bojo.
Cummings is just bitter and twisted. So two-faced and if he hadn't been sacked he'd have carried on twisting things for his own gain. A horrible nasty specimen. He only cares about himself.
Faced with a pandemic nobody really knows how to react and whatever they do will be wrong. I bet Labour are rubbing their hands with glee that they didn't get lumbered with having to make decisions.
None of this will dent Boris Johnson's popularity one iota. The sad truth is we like being lied to. It makes us feel good.

You came on this forum and defended him when he breached Covid regulations!
Quote: Chappers @ 26th May 2021, 12:08 PMYes it is a bit of a "postcode lottery" to use current parlance. However where you live there's probably only a few sheep and a cow.
Two cows, I'll have you know!!

Unless "the horses mouth" is itself a lying inept fool, o course.
Do get your logic right or at least consistent.
Anybody can do magnificent criticism in retrospect. The difficult bit is getting it right at the relevant time with the available information.
Just imagine what the chaos would have been like if Corbyn was in charge.
~~~~~~~~~~~
It's easy to see now that what the Government should have done in Feb/Mar 2020 was to nationalise all the Butlin's (etc) Holiday Camps and put every single arrival in the UK (there are only about 7 million of them) in isolation in the holiday camps for at least 3 weeks with armed guards with orders to shoot dead any escapees.
And no don't go calling them Death Camps, though there would be a lot of deaths, call them Life Camps because they would be saving the lives of the general population.
Or, Disraeli, or Bonar Law, or Jim Callaghan - or anyone else who wasn't leader of the opposition at the time.
If that's the case, why did Boris Johnson give Cummings such an important job at the heart of government in the first place? And why did he refuse to sack Cummings when he undermined Covid policy by breaching restrictions last year? So even if we follow your logic, it still points to a catastrophic lack of judgement and competence on Johnson's part, having this man around.
And by the way, why are Brexit supporters turning on Cummings. Show a bit of loyalty, he was massively important in delivering Brexit.
I'm not sure that I did!
