I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,277

Where's Biden? Has he nodded off?
The president of the United States is nowhere to be seen and hasn't done any press conferences or 'the state of the nation speech.'

Yesterday, there was a video of him walking towards the press and and TV cameras for a short interview but it's fake news lol.
If you watch it - there is definitely some CGI going on and they f**ked it up.

Video experts say there was either a 'green screen' being used or microphones were super imposed on the screen.
Either way, he mysteriously moves his hand right through the microphones.

It does nothing to allay the thoughts that he is suffering from the onset age related dementia.

Oh, for goodness sake.
Even a cursory look at that video would tell you that it's entirely genuine.

A cursory look from a sensible person, not somebody who lives on a diet of conspiracy theories and alt-right propaganda and is pre-disposed to believe everything they're fed.

Also, just watched Avengers: Endgame, and old nearly dead Captain America is the spit of Joe Biden.

What a shock; black is white.

The microphone? Come on. That is not real.

Have you seen the clip from both angles?
And in it's entirety, rather than the clipped version circulated by a famously pro-Trumper?
Done much green-screen?
You're perfectly entitled to your opinion about Biden - you may even be right - but resorting to fake news doesn't help your cause.

I think that Biden is past it and that he struggles but I suspect that he was the one person the Dems could coalesce around and that Kamal Harris will be the leader.
I don't think it will be as smooth as transition as the world could do with as she has enemies in her own party let alone among the 70 odd million who voted Republican.
But I do think that most people expected this 'Switch' sooner rather than later and when it happens the policy's she follows will have to adhere as much as possible to the ones that got Biden the Presidency.
I don't think it would be prudent to divert from the policy's on the ticket until she is ready to to face a second term and then present her own ideas and people can vote on them.
In short Harris POTUS policy as near as possible to Biden.

On a lighter note I had Heaven Help Us at Cheltenham yesterday sadly it was in a Lucky 15 and the other 3 are still running. That said I live to fight another day and I have a Lucky 15 on the go today .

On the betting subject, Sky bet were offering a money back as cash on the first race each day at Cheltenham if your horse didn't win.
Maximum £10 bet.
I had the, in effect, the free bet on both days. 1st day lost, £10 back in my account. Yesterday won, £25 into my account.

They must have got burned as it's no longer available - they have changed it to 2nd 3rd or 4th even though their advert before said 'if your horse loses. every day

There were so many offers going round they probably jumped the gun to get the punters and done a 'Mini Hoover' mistake I did lose out a bit though as I went with Paddy Power on line . Normally I go with Bet Fred in shop and take the price option were you get the price you ticked and if it gores higher you get that as well, So the ne I backed was at 25-1 when I did it but it came in at 33's. I only bet 20p each ways Lucky 15's so it was hardly a fortune but it still done my head in.

My tip for today is 'Come On Teddy' this is not some sort of porno proposal its a horse in the 1. 55 ,

One year ago today... It was was 18 March 2020.

Not interested in horse racing one bit, in fact I hate it - the people, miniature squeaky riders, prats with trilbies etc etc, horses being killed (shame it's not the jockey too) on the jumps or whatever they call them.

BUT this morning on the news was a bit about some chap who has a £5 accumulator, which has 4 winners so far, and stands to win £500,000 if the favourite (his 5th choice - Envoi Allen at 9/2) comes in, BUT he has the option to cash in his ticket for £275,000 NOW..............................................

What would you do ?

Image

The bookies have now made him an offer - that he has taken.

£250 thousand if the last horse loses
£300 thousand of it wins

Guaranteed money.

I would have taken it too

The horse fell so its a good job.

Police have arrested someone in connection with the 20-year-old 'murder mystery' at Michael Barrymore's swimming pool so it looks like the truth might finally be revealed. Michael says he's keen to get to the bottom of things and hopes to come out squeaky clean.

The senile Biden called Kamala Harris president Kamala....
It might be the truth very soon.

EDIT; Watched it again - he called her president Harris. :S

Make no mistake Biden is elderly and prone to gaffs , I just think that he is being used as 'Front of House' in order to coalesce the groups within the Democrats. But I don't think its sinister more practical as I just think that's clearly what they had to do in order to beat Trump . Harris will be POTUS sooner or later in this administration.

Don't get me wrong, I feel sorry for the man.
He's wanted to be president for sooo long.
And when he gets there, he's past his sell by date.

My wife's mother started on the road to oblivion just like he is. The gaffes could be hilarious but always tinged with sadness.
