I read the news today oh boy! Page 203

Another case of US police brutality - this guy walking his dog in Denver saw a driver being stopped by police for running a stop sign. The guy thought the police had stopped the driver wrongly, and so said to the driver that he'd be happy to testify in court.

Moments later he's being kicked and punched by two burly cops who took exception to his public-spirited ways. All caught on camera. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QOv9vS8Dbg

He had a dog

Dog's are lethal weapons

He got what was coming to him.

Labour could have (emphasis on the could: still not perhaps entirely likely, but far more plausible) hung onto power had they had the wit to replace El Gordo as leader though.

Labour proposed that to Clegg but then gave up the will to live, as you would at the prospect of having to trade with Alex Salmon, who would squeeze your balls until you were red in the face and then be talking to the Tories within six month in order to extract more parochial concessions.

Their offer of that to Clegg was too little, too late, and as has been documented, pretty quickly gone back upon by Gordo himself.

I kept thinking Rebecca Front would turn up on the report as Barbara Wintergarden

I'm sure you're right, but even though I voted for them, I couldn't see them having much credibility or authority forming a patchwork coalition under David Milliband. You would probably be looking at a second election, within a year, in which Labour would likely to have been punished and the Tories returned with an overall majority.

Amaaaaazing photographs of that bull escape/attack incident yesterday.
Photos are much better than film sometimes.

Oh my god. That's terrifying.

That one where the point of the bull's horn is just about to pierce the lady's back. :O

That might have been quite nice at first.
It's right on that bit you can't quite reach when you've got an itch.

I know!

The fear on people's faces is horrible. Is there a new story (in English) that goes with this Zooo?

Here it is http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-11022260

Also found this one about a bear. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-11032078
