Snowflakes are a pain in the arse. They've got no knowledge of life but think they know everything. They get their parents to wipe their arses and get run around - oh sorry! That's Helicopter parents isn't it!
I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,002
I'm fairly sure that the people who are taking offence aren't just the snowflake generation. One generation complaining can never usually be heard.
This is the generation we're talking about who are objecting to Brexit.
You can't have a generation that consists of 48% of the population, Chaps. Generations are between 10 and 30 years in length.

I don't think that's what Townsend thought.

I'm in the unusual position of agreeing with you. Political correctness has gone mad and everyday common sense has been lost.
There's a go-fund-me campaign for Trump's wall, see here:

What the Hell is going on with this drone carry-on? Next they'll be telling us It's wee green men.
It's a professional job, possibly Russia again, the way it reappeared when they were reopening the runway. So the police hold a couple of innocent locals for 36 hours in run up to Xmas because the bloke is a remote control car and drone hobbyist. I bet they've let these agents escape as they did the Salisbury poisoners, oh sorry that's Cathedral visiting tourists. Our Police are getting worryingly useless.
Trumps plane flew over our house today. Honest - air force 1
Not a joke.
We have a lot of military aircraft high up come over us.
I get the binoculars out to see what they are.
Saw the euro-fighters the other week when they were scrambled for a snooping Russian plane

That's cool. I have a penchant for aircraft and keep a small receiver in my attic which receives aircraft position reports and forwards them to one of the online flight tracking websites. Cool stuff.
We have several military bases nearby, so fighters, trainers, huge cargo planes and helicopters aren't uncommon, but the other day something roared overhead and shook the house in an unusual way. It turned out to be a tilt-rotor Osprey; I'd never seen one in person before.
If you're ever in southern California, check out the Ronald Reagan Presidential library. In addition to his grave and presidential memorabilia, they have an F-14, a chunk of the Berlin Wall, Marine Corps One (presidential helicopter) and the actual Air Force One that served between 1973 and 2001. You can walk through it from front to back.

When I was in the Army during the late 80s I was the controller for a highly critical satellite network that was sometimes joined by Air Force One and KNEECAP (National Emergency Airborne Command Post) when they were in flight. It was typical to joke around a bit with the distant end when they requested access to the net, but those guys were all business.

Why didn't you have a rocket launcher handy?
I'll never forget when I was at work and a Hercules flew past but it was so low it was almost level with the building. The rumbling sound made everyone panic because it was only a few weeks after 9/11.
I'm close to an aerodrome and there have been annual races with routes going over the house. One time there were some that seemed to by flying dangerously low. There were 4 or 5 planes that whizzed past no higher than the top of a pylon which looked far too low to be able to take any corrective action.
I've been on a plane but never a helicopter or Hot Air Balloon. I think I would be terrified.

I flew on a helicopter while I was in the Army and it was a blast. They put your seatbelt strap through your rucksack and the sling of your rifle so that nothing gets lost, but it's still pretty frightening when they do a sharp turn and only the strap is holding you inside the aircraft.
I think a hot air balloon would terrify me. I wouldn't want to come down in tall trees or power lines.
Going back to the snowflake generation discussion I'm wondering if it's to do with a couple of generations permanently online and permanently lodging complaints. Someone like Henry Root was special in his time but now everybody's doing it.
