She would fit right in with some of the other laughable candidates.
Quote: keewik @ 20th January 2016, 3:43 PM GMTOn past form, she seemed very nearly as much a numpty as Trump. I remember being a bit alarmed when there seemed a possibility of her standing for President. I don't think I was alone in Britain with that opinion.
She's a bit more attractive than Trump though - although I always had a thing about his Ex.

Quote: keewik @ 20th January 2016, 12:11 AM GMTSarah Palin!!!!
Palin shakes arse, kisses Trump's arse and wants to "Kick IS arse" . Most people would use a gun (for all three). But she does make a nice ass (and arse) of herself. Palin for me, conjures up an image of Yosemite Sam shooting his pistols off going Yehaaa "lets kick ass". Trump & Palin seem to come from the same clan (no empathy, pointy hats). Their gaff's are probably amplified by the cultural differences, but wow do they knock out some gaffs. Very few of those are anything other than digs at her religious views. It's no different than President Obama saying "God bless America."
6. Vicious Attack on Obama
The following quote needs little introduction. It's famous now, not only for its inaccuracy but also for how much this line of attack has fallen flat with voters and backfired on the McCain campaign:
Our opponent though, is someone who sees America it seems as being so imperfect that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country.
Outright deception is probably not something the American voters are looking to put in the White House; pretty sure they've had enough of that in the past eight years.
President Obama did in fact associate with Bill Ayers, a known domestic terrorist.
In 1969 he co-founded the Weather Underground, a self-described communist revolutionary group with the intent to overthrow imperialism, that conducted a campaign of bombing public buildings (including police stations, the U.S. Capitol Building, and the Pentagon) during the 1960s and 1970s in response to U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War.

US police say they have arrested the leader of an armed militia which has occupied a wildlife refuge in Oregon, with one person killed in a shoot-out.
Each of the defendants faces a charge of conspiracy to impede police from discharging their official duties through the use of force, intimidation, or threats
I would have thought there would be more serious charges to face after a fatal shoot-out.

Details of the shooting are still unclear. The protesters claim that they all cooperated, although unnamed sources say that the dead man resisted arrest. It's possible that none of the protesters fired a shot, but that won't be known until police footage is released. If no footage is forthcoming to prove that the police and FBI acted properly, then it will only rile up future protesters.
My hunch is that the dead man raised a firearm, but we won't know until video is released.
