LIBYA.

Yep. Indeed. Libya.
Apologies, apologies.
It's one of those mistakes I keep on making.
Tripped over that one plenty of times in the past. Yet still can't get it right.
Hopeless case, I guess.
My own fault really for spending all my time worrying about newts.

Yes, but I'm trying to laugh merrily at it. Laughing out loud

An Australian jockey had a close call when his trousers fell down during a race. They weren't down fur-long, but officials are looking into reprimanding him for several breeches of the rules. He finished in number 2 position.

It's official.

People in Switzerland are the happiest people on the planet.

Lesson to the rest of the world - return to the music of the 1970s.

And let everyone else have a fight and hold their coats while they're doing it.

Ditto. Those were the (lively) days.

That post war baby boomer period will never be repeated, sadly.

Can take that one on board. I don't rule out any era or genre. Generation wise I'm 80s indie music as much as 70s music because 70s was doing the homework to the radio etc and 80s was being of the age to go to gigs. I identify closely with the second half of the 60s and the first half of the 90s too.

But I had our friend Gordon in mind on this one. Presumably he is typical. I'm assuming all the Swiss go to flea markets every Saturday to buy live albums by Rory Gallagher - and half a dozen others.
