That's a lovely photo.

He even made this load of tosh watchable:

Possibly NSFW.

He was formerly the Housing Minister . . .

Weird how his left eye and chin are identical to those of Tony Blair.

That's entirely idiotic and counter productive.

Especially as part of the vast triborough, it encompasses more people likely to be forced out of their homes by capping and bedroom taxes then anyother.

It also misses the obvious solution.

If tax havens aren't strictly illegal, why didn't they put details of the ones they know well in the cards?

That way people could afford to pay their rent and have a Christmas pudding.

What's all this crap about making Biggs a hero when he was instrumental in the death of the railwayman?

The kind of idiots who call him a hero are surplus to the gene pools requirements.

Found this on Facebook, and thought it was going to be a satire after reading the first sentence: "For many years now in the UK the Hardworking Taxpayer is having to foot the bill to house Murderers, Child Killers and Peadophiles in our Jails..."

It's a fairly common thing these days I think. Even when the crimes committed were really recent and severe. It seems that if you have a charismatic personality people forget that what you did was real.

When the first series of Underbelly aired here, suddenly the family members of the people involved and some others who had that point avoided jail became like superstars in the media. In some ways so did the ones who had already been convicted. At the time the that the show aired the crimes were less than ten years old. In Victoria where the crimes took place, the show was unable to be aired at the same time as the rest of the country because the criminal trials were still going on.

I can sort of understand it with criminals from long ago, but I find it really disturbing when it involves crimes committed in not just in living memory of people.

There's an article about your Nigella Lawson in my local paper titled "Die koksende Köchin" ("The snorting cook")...

A really nice looking woman!

She looks like Nigel Lawson in a wig

Bluuuerrggh

I wonder why that is...

I've always enjoyed Jeremy Hardy's joke:

'Nigel Lawson is a vain and preening man' - as I was saying to my daughter, Jeremella.
