Oh no Steve why?

"Truly shocking and appalling" is how the MoD described the acts of the Marine found guilty of murder. I can agree with that; but it does seem a bit strange that such language isn't used in other cases, such as when innocent civilians are killed collaterally.

Hang on hang on

Hang the f**k, on

The police in Yorkshire are breaking into people's houses - so they can say, look how easy we broke into your house - get it sorted

Wtf

Well maybe you can't tell me how easy it was to break into MY house after I've stuck a bread knife up your throat

ACAB!!

Unfortunately, Lofty, I'm disinclined to believe any of the surprising stories you post because most of them seem to come from the blogs of crazy people.

Also, I would think a bread knife would be a poor choice of stabbing implement.

That one us true

Let's hope they don't move onto murder

Found the story you were talking about, Lofthouse. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-24842680

They're hardly smashing windows and shimmying up drain pipes - they're seeing if people have left their front doors unlocked when they've gone out and leaving balloons behind to show people how easy it would have been for a burglar to get in. And as they have a bit of an epidemic of burglaries and 1 out of 3 places has unlocked doors and ground floor windows it seems like a worthwhile initiative.

Jajajaja!
