I'm not his defence barrister and I'm not advocating his innocence but I don't think it is right to name the defendant and not the plaintiff in these cases. Any charge related to sex can never be disproved in the public mind once it's made.
If he is declared innocent the popular conception will be that he 'got away with it.' He won't be offered his job in Corrie back.
