Not really news, but in a newspaper. Of sorts. Thanks BCG Newsletter!
But eh? You what? And so on.

Oh I saw that title earlier and couldn't even be bothered to read it! My eyes nearly rolled into the back of my head.

:D I ignored it for a while but then realised I'd been in a good mood for too long and was feeling creeped out. Wasn't even irritatingly offensive or stupid. An entire article saying 'meh'. Which is the reasonable response to the question, but the question hadn't actually been asked. Ah, that's better, getting annoyed now!

Laughing out loud

Of course, when I say this on the BCG, I'm vilified as a mysoginist, but when Katy Brand writes it in the Telegraph, then she's paid loads of money and given respect for a typically predictable and dull wind up piece.

Saw an interview with the actress Olivia Wilde on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart and yes, beautiful women can be funny. Lovey

Oh dear what a dreary self indulgent moan.

Marti Caine, Smack the Pony there are lots of beautiful funny women.

This awful self indulgent comedy propagated by the likes of Miranda Hart and Katy Brand is a cultural misstep; akin to Ancient Egyptian incest or South seas cargo cults And if it isn't stamped out if could be the end of our civilization.

What's Miranda got to do with it?

Katy Brand mentions discussing the subject with her.

Given a choice between being involved in that conversation with those humourless heffalumps

And attempting atmospheric reentry in my boxer shorts.

I'd have to have a bloody good think.

Ah fat jokes, Nice.

In what way can that be construed as a joke and not an insulting observation?

The belief that I am permanently joking is quite offensive!

:D

I'm sure I recall you fancying Miranda. What's she done to merit such scorn?

(They're not great examples if you want to wind us up, what with both being pretty)

Why should her being a heffalump make Miranda unattractive?

She has the powerful thighs and broad shoulders not to mention vast knockers of some primitive Amazonian goddess.

How dare you describe her as merely "pretty"

the sheer petty mindedness of BCG ladies can be truly astonishing

Rolling eyes

Ooh, here's a tricky one. 8 women are suing the police because they fell in love with undercover officers who were spying on them. Some are claiming 'post traumatic stress disorder' - which I think is a bit rich, considering that almost all relationships have lies and secrets.

Should our tax money be given to these hippy environmental protestor chicks? I'm gonna say...no.

Your ability to selectively read is quite astonishing. A brief sting isn't the same as multiple relationships over years involving sexual and emotional intimacy.
If nothing else they're responsible for the forthcoming deluge of undercover jokes on every topical comedy outlet.

A compliment indeed. :$

The problem with forking out this dough is that it will set a precedent for all future undercover operations. Will elderly and ugly MP Mike Hancock be able to sue super hot Russian spy babe Anna Chapman? After all, she made loads of money in modelling and television contracts of the back of her betrayal, whilst he remains old, ugly and politically ineffectual.
