CONTINUITY: And coming up later, we look at the recent scandal at the Wonka chocolate factory.
OOMPA-LOOMPAS: (SINGING) Oompa-loompa-doompa-de-do, we've signed the sex offender's register too.
CONITNUITY: More on that story later.

Very good joke, but maybe a little to fast.
Maybe a little more exposition in the first line.
There's a gag needed about Wonka, candy, inviting kids to his factory etc.
Yeah. I was working on a sketch about Willy Wonka and the troubles he may have had with that whole thing in these days. I couldn't really get it to work but I didn't want to lose this line.
Willy Wonka flees the country after allegations over children smuggled into factory, with massive offers of candy.
Young Charlie claims, I didn't know what a golden ticket really meant.
Meanwhile the Oompa Loompas continue their protest.
Nice gag
Yeah, works as a "and next on the news", but would be nice to follow it up then with a sketch, just expand this, filling it with similarly strong gags. Easier said than done, I suppose
Have to say I don't get. I like most of your other stuff but I don't see how the Oompa-loompas singing that song would be enough in a sketch. Why the Oompa-loompas anyway? I don't see the link.
Yes, children were in the factory but... in my mind, that's not enough. (May not need saying but I feel I should add here, 'But what do I know?')
