A woman's place

I know it's subtle but there is a punch line in there.

A MAN & WOMAN TALKING IN THE OFFICE. THE WOMAN IS TALL & GOOD LOOKING

MAN
In the old days it was men who came to work and a woman's place was in the home and that's the way it should be

WOMAN
Yes and then somebody noticed that we do actually have brains too!

MAN
Yes, but it's a well known fact a woman's brain and a man's brain are different

WOMAN
Yes I know men's brains are in there underpants

MAN
Is that right, one of these days I'll give you a piece of my mind.

A nice gag, but an exchange that could be incorporated into a longer work, perhaps, rather than a freestanding sketch?

Agreed. Made me snigger, but it would definitely be strengthened by featuring as part of a longer exchange. I can easily see Paul Kaye's Bob Slay (Perfect World) or a similar character saying it. :)

Thanks for the feedback guys, I know it would fit better as a throw away line in a sitcom, but I don't have one at present, so if anyone out there can use it please do.

Haha! Really did like that. It made me giggle, which is odd seeing as I thought I'd heard all of those style jokes in GCSE science classes, sat between two boys! Agree as has been said that it'd be perfect in a longer exchange.
