And he wrote gags for the recent stage play "The Play What I Wrote".
Eddie Braben contact? Page 2
*whoosh*
Was it a bird? Was it a plane?
No! It's Bandageman! With his powers of ... Erm. Creating cartoon avatars which make girls look like boys?
Sorry I didn't reply sooner to this, but I've had a really stressful few days, and haven't had a chance to reply. Anyway, what I should've really asked, in the first place, was whether Eddie Braben had ever acted. I know my sitcom will probably never be made, and even if it is, I won't have any say in the casting, but I've written this part, of an old former comedy writer, and thought he'd be perfect for it. I have heard an old radio show he wrote, from the '70s, but I can't remember whether he was in it.
As far as I'm aware personally, no, he's never done any acting.
How about Barry Cryer?
Contact, or acting?

I meant if Catskillz is looking for an older comedy writer who has some acting chops, he could do much worse than the legend.
Ahh! Ok.
Yes, agreed. (On the legend status.)
Actually, Cryer would be quite good. I'm really proud of this character, as I've written some really funny lines for him. He only appears in one episode, but, if the show is ever made, he'll definitely be one of the most memorable characters.
Again, I could probably help you get in touch with him. PM me if you're interested.
