Who's the greatest person ever in world history? Page 8

I do feel for the astronauts and all the scientists who worked so hard to make it happen. Then these clueless loons who've read a few articles on the internet and think they know it all come up to them and accuse them of being liars. I would be punching idiots all day long if I was them.

It's an act of faith with conspiracy theorists, though. They just blindly believe the moon landings are fake and no amount of facts or scientific evidence will ever sway them. Ironically, it would actually be easier to go to the moon than fake going to the moon.

So do I Zoo.
NASA freely admit a lot of the technology was 'wing and a prayer' stuff.

For instance, the moon lander failed to ignite for take-off something like 5 out of 10 times in tests before it was bundled onto the rocket.

You believe the moon landings were fake? Next you'll be telling us you believe in God.

Any challenge to their bullshit is met with; "you need to open your eyes" and "you're so naive"

Wasn't quite sure when I was younger what the phrase 'a little knowledge is dangerous thing' meant but it sums up the truth seeker industry.

Ironically they flatter people in power by complimenting their brilliance to organise secret conspiracies and have such clear thought out agendas.

Also Tricky Dicky obsessively recorded his own private conversations. You'd think he'd have mentioned in at least one of them the whole fake moon landing.

One thing about fakery in general is that it tends to betray to future observers, the era in which it was made. For example, fake Vermeers fooled the art world early last century, but these days they look gauche, and appear to be wearing clothes a bit like those of the 20s, a feature which neither the fakers nor galleries noticed at the time.
If the moon landings were fake, then 40+ years later the footage would look like it had flares on. But it doesn't, it still looks damn cool.

And thanks to the wonders of science you can not only build space rockets but prove in a few days whether a Vermeer or moon landing TV broadcast has been faked.

Well, I still think Diana's death was highly suspicious.

I think they will have done as much as possible to ensure it is a boy. That avoids the problem of whether one of the names should be Diana.

It would look pretty weird if one of the names for a girl wasn't Diana and it would make William seem cold. To include it though opens up a can of worms.

Plus Nick Clegg was responsible for changing the rules. He will bask in the glory if it is a girl. I doubt that anyone would want that. Even the Queen.

Like what, conceiving while standing up and eating a lot of cheese?
