One of those bands I'd forgotten about for thirty years or so. Never listened to their music, but remember seeing their album covers on the racks.

Yes, it's organic.
Anyhow, no saws or socks. I'm watching the footy now.

Waiting for Kermode/Mayo to start and listening to John Inverdale do the golf. I know two weeks ago we (including me) were all making out he was the most evil man ever (zooo even implied his children should be taken into care for his Bartoli comment!), but he's actually a solid anchor.

Absolutely.
Oh, I thought you said something else...
Golf on the radio
Cryin out loud
On a Friday afternoon
How many people are listening to that right now?
About 73?

They did Golf Girl, didn't they? I'm listening to a Rolling Stones cover on this sultry night and another song on the cusp of rock and soul. I think both are from this decade.

Couple of tracks from this came up randomly on my ipod this evening, curiously enough. It's not my favourite Caravan album, but it's between this and Jimmy Buffett's 'A White Sports Coat and a Pink Crustacean' for my favourite-ever album title!

Loved these cats when I was 18 - 21ish.
I have CTC on an NME CD circa 1999. It has a red cover and also features people like BRMC and the Datsuns. The Tubes are the NME too - White Punks on Dope - and a comment about an "outrageous" stage show but it was pre punk. 1975. I read that inquisitively at a cousin's. My first festival wasn't until 1989.
