I thought I saw Stott's beard looming in the background.

I thought the main actor was pretty good too. He was in the first sketch as well, right? The music was nicely composed too.

I remember being a fan of this sketch when Bussell put up a written version a few years back, but the 'man doll' being driven to being a knife wielding maniac didn't quite feel right to me. Although it did feel as though there were long pauses between funny bits, the punchline was very effective.

I'm not taking the piss, but was that supposed to be funny? I thought it was just a short film.

It's tragi-comedy.

I'd like to say it was a let down... but I liked it. Not 'funny' haha, but darkly comic.

This was my reaction also.

I thought the main actor was great and it worked as a mood-piece, but more a darkly funny idea than funny funny. If that makes sense. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it, but it wasn't what I expected it to be.

I see what you did there...

Good Stuff well made. Just missing an inflatable headstone.

playfull

I liked the others, but I liked this most of all.

It really works because the tragic romance is treated utterly seriously, with the one change being a couple of the characters are sex dolls.

That and the acting and directing are first rate.

It reminded me a bit of this Vic & Bob sketch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzgnU_rQzrk

I love Vic & Bob so much it hurts!

that jimmy saville is there no end to his infamy?

The filming was bang on and the acting was fine but it was a two bob joke in a three grand suit.

I really liked it.
& It definitely benefited from having been on Critique here, as there were some good suggestions.

Are these going to be Matthews only words on the BCG from now on.
At least they will also be applicable when they find the next Dr Who.

Different and certainly well made,, can't say I found it funny though but it worked at the same time. I'd have had the male doll pull a drawing pin or knitting needle rather than stanley knife, to be honest I thought that part the weakest but I liked the little child doll and the acting was excellent.

I thought I saw more than his beard.
