Ah Mein furrer

By the way, a few days ago I watched the Dad's Army episode where the boys had to dress up as German soldiers with Pike playing a Nazi officer. Brilliant. Ian Lavender's finest hour imo.

Just bought box set of Dads Army. Still great. I just love watching John le Mesurier's tour de force performance

John le Mesurier

He was a special one. Naturally cool and dignified. If he had been an American he'd been a member of Martin's and Sinatra's Rat Pack. A cigarette in one hand, a drink in the other flirting with classy women.

I never tire of his tics and expressions. Try watching an episode where you only look at him, its a joy

I love it when Mainwaring gives an order or a lecture and Wilson suddenly starts to chuckle.

A guide to current teen/twenty something speak. I think I know four of them. I was never "cool" but it makes me feel old. And I'm twentysomething

Edit- Just realised the article was published in 2006, feel even uncooller now, I was still a teenager then...just
