British Comedy Guide

Not funny anymore

Britain has lost its edge. None of our so-called comedians are funny. Stand-up is crap, sit down is crap, stand sit is up and down!

It's a joke!

I usually sit down to crap.

Hi Akawanka. When I first read your post I thought WTF is he talking about?? Then I remembered I was going at it from my point of view from over here! Here in the US we have nothing like Graham Norton, and I don't think we will ever have! Then there is Eddie Izzard who is way better than just about any of our stand up comedians. Here our stand up comedians seem to focus on swearing or putting people down. I think you just need to watch some of the crap being broadcast in the US to see what good stuff is still happening in GB! Just remember the many programs the US has tried to remake of British programming...and failed.

Derek series two is coming soon. No need to panic...

Oh I don't know, the politicians are quite funny. The regular piss ups and brawls in Whitehall always make me laugh.

Neil Hamilton. :P Jeffrey Archer Laughing out loud
Why do I laugh...? Most politicians (or former) of every stripe are taking the p@*! and our money...
