I know. It was a wee tangent. Maybe I should have added that she's in her mid-70's, and also calls the radio "the wireless", and mispronounces lots of other new-fangled things too. 
Love the fact that Tahiti can still qualify for the semi-finals despite shipping 16 goals in 2 games.
If Tahiti and Spain both win 10-0 then the Pacific islanders will progress on goal difference.
Robbie Savage says the tournament is devalued by them being there but I think he's missing the point. The competition is more a practice run before the real thing next year and the trophy nothing more than as a 'nice to have'. It's like the World Club Cup in that respect.
There are a lot of nations who have zero chance of playing on the big stage and offering them a route to a tournament where they can get 15 minutes of fame gives all those countries hope. They won a regional competition fair and square and as a result they are there by right. Stop being an arse Savage.

Apparently Shearer has said some less than complimentary things about Ashley.
And I could never understand why it was called a wireless because there always seemed to be lots of wires - going out (and in - insert your own song reference).
