I've just seen... Page 366

All 195 minutes of Appocalypse Now Redux. Great, except for the real cow getting slaughtered at the end. :(

Man on the Moon.

Nice film with a great Carrey performance. Whatever happened to Courtney Love's acting career?

She appears to have a pretty good music career, although I could be very wrong.

Home Alone.

I think her success as a musician is somewhat debatable...

The credits are currently rolling for Pumping Iron, the 70s documentary about the world of bodybuilding featuring Arnie, Lou Ferrigno et al. It's a charming, celebratory look at the glory days of the sport long before the 'creosote' look pulled into town. It's perhaps too celebratory though and could have been a bit more balanced if they looked at some of the negative aspects. Steroids, for example, were rampant even back then, but aren't even mentioned here.

Are they officially allowed?

I don't believe they test for them. Steroids are an essential part of any competing bodybuilders training. I don't think anyone likes to talk about it though.

Stuck. A woman hits a homeless man with her car, then drives home with him wedged in the windscreen and leaves him in the garage until she can figure out what to do with him. Surprisingly tense and funny.

You do watch some special films.

Life's too short for just Big Bang Theory and YA fiction, zooo! (Although you'd like Stuck, it's smart and bleakly funny and based on a true story).

I haven't got over Bambi not being able to stand up on the ice.

Spoilers, Oldrocker! I've not seen Bambi yet.

Going to see Man of Steel this afternoon.

Saw Man 'o Steel Friday, really liked it.

Does Mr Superman have an English accent in the film?
