Cloverfield *possible spoilers* Page 2

I guess the George W Bush story would be a film about a deranged penis that destroyed the world.

Little bit of politics.

Laughing out loud

I can finally look at this thread without fear of spoilers. It was an amazing film! The absolute best film I've seen in years.

I saw Cloverfield last Wednesday and i thought that the annoying camera work with it wobbling all over the place added to the realism and although it has made some people feel a bit motion sick, i think it was the right thing to do as if the camera was steady it would have been too slick.

Cloverfield is the first ever film that I have thought "wow, the direction of that film was awesome"! I'm not sure who directed it but they did a bloody good job. :)

There has been a rumour circulating round the place that there is going to be Cloverfield 2 which will be exactly the same as the first movie... except it will be filmed from someone else's perspective - perhaps the Army or Police or something?

Even if it is just that, a rumour, what a great idea for a second film!

This film has what I call the 'Marmite Effect' - you either love it or hate it, you decide...

:)

:)

I did mention this, from what I'm hearing it will be another group of friends I'm assuming with a video camera again, but little has been released on it as of yet.

What would Cloverfield in London be like?

Over priced and full of Yuppies.

There is nothing wrong with this film. It is amazing.

It's a great film, and only those who don't take it as face value enjoyment will not enjoy it. If we want to get nit picky - yes, there are a few things wrong, but come on...it was great! :)

For the first time EVER I walked out of the cinema before the film was finished. I felt so ill because of the shaky cam work that the bloke in front of me nearly got a gutful of semi-digested popcorn in his hair. Just thinking about it now makes me feel a bit queasy.

I was so pissed off too, because it was an amazingly-immersive film. Damn my motion sickness!

This film rocked the cock. And hard.

Am I the only one who found the actor behind the camera excruciatingly annoying?

I'm "acquiring it" now.

Nah, he was dumb but I think that that helped attribute to why on earth he carried the camera around with him the whole time anyway. And you've got to admit he added a few laughs!

Anyone else shit their pants when they were in the train tunnel?
