Why did Bussell leave us?

What edition? The one I'm reading called Bussell a c**t and had you down as his producer/ carer.

Late to the party.

Loved the cut to the close-up of the tabby, repeating "king of the internet" in a movie-trailer style deep voice at 2.45. Makes me chuckle every time I see it.

Surprises are what make me laugh, something coming at you from left field.

And Bussell used to have a go at me for knocking stuff out on the spot in Critique.

The only thing that made this work was the girl's sarcasm but it's not anything we haven't seen before.

But apart from that GREAT SKETCH, YEAH. LIKE, UM, ALL PRAISE THE KINGS OF THE INTERNET?

I think everyone objected to that

not least of all the queen

Sorry Dan but this was not up to standard at all.
The artwork was poor almost childish.
The concept is unfunny.
So overall it flops on every level for me.
Comedy may be subjective but if this gets praise then you have a problem with sycophants.
Bussell lorded it over these boards as a comedy genius and then pulls shit like this out the hat.
Dan you obviously have great facilities and keen actors, but for me you seriously need to inject comedy.
I hate slamming your stuff as I found you to be one of the more level headed and helpful people on this site so it pains me to go public.
But for me the whole Hunka Wunda thing to date has been below mediocre and is a waste of your talent and the equipment.

This was pretty uninspired, I mean nicely put together and all that.

But this would be a nice effort if it was your first critique sketch.

But c'mon this is something you're trying to get noticed for and it's well full of meh.

Why the heck are you serving up left overs?

Serve your left overs to your pigs.

Amy sounds like Isy Suttie. In a couple of places a lot like her.

I don't have any agenda here (sycophantic, or otherwise), or any history with the people involved, or any ambition to write for sketch-shows, but I think this deserves time. It's early days here, and the project is still finding its feet, and establishing its identity. The idea for the new sketch was fun, and the execution was fine. There's more on the way. Later on, we'll get a better idea where it fits in the scheme of things. I'd guess the effect is cumulative.

At the end of the day, the guys are putting their work out there, and having a proper go, so good luck to them!

Matt if you keep having to go back to class, you're going to end up being held back for a year.

But c'mon if you guys set a standard, you're going to be expected to keep to it.

I agree with Bussell George

I agree with Dan.

Liked the idea but think it would have worked better as a very very short quickie.

I think it works for what it is.

But this is your branding, why not associate yourself with pure quality? I really enjoyed Missing Scene, that's something you should be proud of and this piece, whilst not awful, really doesn't measure up to what we know you lot can do.

We say these things because we care, Stott. BECAUSE WE CARE! Hug

Didn't the 'First Date' sketch get praised when it was in the Odd Box podcast? It's also the exact same performance, so surprised people are so hard on it now.

Anyway, I liked the First Date sketch and preferred it to the Sex Kitten sketch.
