The weird thing is that while she's absolutely correct to attack this sort of misogyny, the opposition knows that the average Aussie voter seems to quite like it.
The average Australian voter is fed up of the both of them carring on like little children.
The leader of the Oposition certainly does seem to be a bit sexist but I also think that Julia Gillard and some parts of the media are quick to shout sexisim/misogny whenever she is critisised.
I think the menu description is really nasty. There has been claims in the media today that it was done by the business that held the function rather than instigated by the Liberal Party.
Earlier tonight on radio in Perth the announcer stated to Julia Gillard that her partner is Gay as he is a hairdresser, he then tried to back out of it by saying that is what "other" people say. He has now been suspended and rightly so. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/2013/06/13/23/02/is-tim-gay-shock-jock-asks-pm
Maybe they could also send him on some education courses like other peoples relationships aren't your bussiness. And not to sterotype people like it's 1978.
