Norwegian Ninja. Enjoyably odd action comedy about a squad of Norwegian Ninjas. North Europeans do do deadpan humour very well.

Are you being serious ?

As serious as shingles, Oldrock.

Chuck & Buck. Funny indie comedy about a lonely man who stalks his best friend from childhood. Poignant, disturbing and heartwarming all at the same time.

Pirahana DD. Mechanical and desperate sequel to the far superior Pirahana 3D. By the end even I was bored of all the breasts.

Puff.

I watched that documentary The Queen of Versailles last night about David Siegel and his wife Jackie. He's made his VAST fortune in timeshares and is in the process of building the USA's biggest house (90,000 sq ft and worth $100m), but then the financial meltdown of 2008 causes a tightening of the purse strings. They come across as quite grounded and intelligent, although the wealth does give them a slightly odd world view at times.

Hangover III. Nah...

Saw Deliverance this weekend. Freaky action thriller from the 1970's. Thought it was pretty good. Don't watch if you get creeped out.

Also saw War Horse. My feelings are crossed on this one. It didn't seem to get it right, tame enough for a young teen to watch but the story line was sometimes pretty upsetting that I'm not sure I'd want a young teen to watch.

Squeal piggy.

:(

I hated that bit.

I also found that bit strangely arousinghated that bit.

Sick

I was expecting 'that' bit to be much worse, since everyone talks about it so much and it's so famous. But I ended up thinking I've seen much worse scenes of that type in other films. Still ugh though.

If you're even talking about that bit...!

It's pretty shocking for 1972.
