The Hair's Running

Just a quick one here that would probably only last a matter of seconds and would be a filler track if this was an album. :)

FADE IN

EXT. GREYHOUND RACING STADIUM - NIGHT

This sketch starts with a camera shot on a set of racing traps at a greyhound track and you hear the bell for the signal that the race is due to start and the commentator says:

"And get set for the 8:49 race from Wimbledon and no more bets please, the hair's running"

And then you see the traps open and a line up of bald men come springing out of traps 1 to 6 and are chasing a toupee that is railing around the track, instead of the mechanical hare that the dogs usually chase. Rolling eyes

You could do a sequel with an aroused beast called 'Your Hare's Sticking Up'.

Something I always notice with your sketches is that the names are a dead giveaway. I know the public don't see the script, but surprising the broadcaster or production company might help you get on TV. 'Hang Out With All The Boys' is a good example as I was humming YMCA before I got to the punchline.

Yet again, mucho commento but the sketch made me laugh, so you win! :)

Cheers Scott and I appreciate you taking the time to give your views.

As far as the titles go, that's just me being silly as I even groan at my own puns sometimes and reckon if I had two writing partners, I'd probably want us to be known collectively as the Pun Boy Three! :S

All joking aside, if I ever did submit anything anywhere, I'd give them more suitable names that didn't give the game away but thanks again and if it amused you then I'll take that every time. :)

Nice play on words with the aroused beast 'Your Hare's Sticking Up' thing by the way and I'll resist the urge to do a crass joke about winning by a head. :P

It's good. It's like one of those jokes you'd have in the background of The Simpsons or like a spoof Airplane typa film.

Yeah, that's true. A stupid scene-setter of sorts.

Yeah this is good
