Transporter 3. It's not held in the same esteem as Transporter 1 & 2 but it's still a solid nuts and bolts thriller.

The Rock. For the hundredth time. Michael Bay films are so silly. They all look exactly the same.
Good to have a style though, I suppose.

Don't a lot of nineties block of buster look like this? Face/Off and Con Air do. Anyway, I'm watching it now. Great film. And impressive wiggery.

Yep. And Bad Boys. Those all have a director/producer in common though don't they? All Michael Bay or Don Simpson or Jerry Bruckheimer?
I dunno, I get them confused.

It's because they're all working to a successful formula. Skip forward a few years and films like The Matrix created a new one, well kinda and then we saw lots of clones of that.

I can see these kind of glossy nineties shoot em ups getting a bit of a cult status in the future, like the sixties spy genre did. They are so much of their time they will become nostalgia for a generation who long for the type of films they just don't make anymore.

Watching a Pawn Stars marathon on the History channel. What the heck, it's raining! Teary

The Returned on Channel 4. Very promising.

Is reet spooky.

A bit too French for my liking

Saggy old man boobs?

Ha, quite possibly.
He's an ungrateful bugger, so he is.
