Chip's having to do his own photocopying today. It's a sobering reminder of Austerity Britain.

Just been for a run in this lovely sunshine.

Tonight I will be going to see my favourite band (When I was about 16) The Stone Roses. Very excited; next The Smiths need to get back together. (They definitely won't)

Seen them twice (Blackpool & Spike Island)
Fantastic band, fantastic musicians and a great place to make a mess of a few grams of Cheese as I am well past Gary's.

Mmm cheese...

Seems like those gigs were only announced yesterday. It's come round quick. Good weather for it too. Let us know how it goes, man!

Are they gonna bring out a new album soon?

If so, I hope the third coming is about 400% better than the second coming

They've already announced they won't be playing any new songs, so should be good!

Love The Second Coming, I'm generally more likely to stick that on then the slightly played to death first album.

It was a massive disappointment to me

Waited five years

I wanted more bye bye badman and sugar spun sister and this is the one and made of stone and got....

Bleuarghh

I wouldn't mind but Ian Brown hasn't got the voice for that more rockier led Zeppeliny kinda sound

Er...

IMO!

Ah, well I only got into them after they'd already split up; bought all their stuff at the same time.

Oh..

Oh well I was a card carrying Madchester soldier - it was my life when I was 16

Me n my mates ate drank and lived Happy Mondays, Stone Roses and Inspiral Carpets

Ahhh The glory days...

I didn't get into them until a few years after they split up. Not that keen on The Second Coming. I really, really like Love Spreads, but there's few highlights for me. The guitar throughout is amazing though.

The Inspiral Carpets are ridiculously underrated compared to the others.

Amen

They are by far my favourite band from that era

Bloody love em
