He could have fought the allegations of sexism by saying that the girls were guilty of stereotyping him as a misogynistic Arab.
The Apprentice - Series 9 Page 7
Even though he was a misogynist Arab the girls should have played the white man and commiserated with him when they left the boardroom. It was a bit harsh to just ignore him, no matter how big a git.
I noticed that.
They both went down in my estimation for that one. Didn't make them look good.

They die building all the skyscrapers.
Dubai is basically Egpyt 2000 years ago complete with Pharaohs and slave labour.
I thought that was Pakistani immigrant labour?

Egypt was part of the Roman Empire 2000 years ago, but usually it didn't have slaves. The last Pharaoh died in 30 BC.
I think Sugar had a sneaky liking for - the misogynist arab.
But he couldn't be seen to be favouring a man who thought women were second class.
It was obvious from his 'do as I say' attitude to the girls and him asking to speak to the man on the phone.
That woman didn't look very happy about the idea of selling her piping bags.
This episode's quite painful to watch.
Aren't they all?

This involved David Brentian levels of self humiliation.
Sugar doesn't mind idiots, but he hates the quietly competent.
Talk about a load of waffle, that spectacle was cringworthy.
I understand that the show is very contrived and footage is manipulated to make contestants look either good or bad and last night was no different.
But usually the winning team is the one that makes the most profit (and those figures are manipulated to make it a cliff hanger)
Last nights winners won by the fact that the clients wanted a bigger refund. Ugh!
How can the clients decide how much refund they want without at least talking to the contestants and 'negotiating'
I know we have to turn a blind eye and not let facts get in the way of a good story - but it was poorly manipulated last night and treat the audience as idiots.

The less black and white tasks can be a bit iffy. But every series there's usually a couple of tasks that rely more on judgement than statists. Usually it's the episode where they have to make an advert.
I'm just amazed at the total lack of imagination that went into the events...what was 'majestic' about sitting in a bare looking room being shouted at by a pretend army sergeant?? poo.
