I thought the performances, the camera work and the editing was spot on, but it didn't raise a laugh with me, although I liked the lines "pretty good can shit on my balls" and "That was my best sleeve"

It has had quite a few hits already as well, no doubt the audience retention graph will give you a good indication on whether it was to long or not.

Look forward to seeing more

I thought the sketch had loads of good moments. The table lift fail and the sleeve rip were both lovely. I did think the best of it was in the classroom and all the slaps worked for me. I hadn't heard of kittens with tits before but I don't find the idea of kittens with tits very funny. The performances were great and lots to like though.

So I think we're all agreed:

1) Bussell acting like a bastard = Funny!

2) Joel Veitch kittens = Not Funny!

Okay so people like very short stuff (not that this was all that long!),

Massive missing of point going on here.
It could have been edited better, is the truth of it.
Nothing to do with length, it's all about pace.
Cut it within an inch of it's life, then put a bit back.
I thought the content brilliant.
The only thing that made it look anything less than pro was the edit.
The good news is, that's easy to solve.

Nah, it's done now, it's out, it's being promoted by other websites, on to the next one. No retrospective fiddle.

No, sorry , I meant as a thing one can, if one so chooses, take on board for the future.
Or not.
Anyway - I enjoyed it at and look forward to more.
:)

I've watched it a couple of times now... sorry to repeat others but the bits in the office were good... the table lifting was funny. It trailed off. It felt like it had ended and then the "Later" bit happened.

I'll promote on my twitter feed for you guys. Look forward to the next one.

Thanks all for the eyes and notes.

I hope you go far with this venture.

It was clever but not funny.

Don't worry about that last comment, I don't find a lot of new comedy funny where others do.
(what my daughters find funny (Mid 20's) and I do, rarely coincide)

Best of luck.

Thing is all about comedy is tightness, if you aren't tight enough you lose surpise and then no one enjoys themselves. So make it tighter, harder and try and smack the audience across the fun with your funny. They maybe shocked, they may cry but in the end they'll be enjoying themselves.

I don't know whether to be informed or aroused! :$

Does that chat up line ever work with librarians?

I can't believe your reluctance to take this video down, edit it, burn it and then refilm as per our demands, Stott.

Ah, right. Yes, I'm sure we'll take on board and consider any views on previous stuff when we look at fresh work.

Translation: F**k you, and the bus you came on.

: :D

Seriously, though, a ton of luck with this - will activley 'share', as they say...

I hope the makers are taking this criticism in the constructive way it was (presumably) intended.

I spent Saturday morning watching them shoot a forthcoming HW sketch and I can report that they're super-super dedicated to this project.

Yes, we're looking forward to your cameo part Kevin. Hopefully of your bum! It's soooo peachy.

I don't think anyone has been particularly negative... and because the makers are such big parts of the site that explains the amount of comments. Comedy is subjective - some people get it, some don't, but I'm sure I speak for the majority that want the team/makers to succeed.
