I've not been to a recording but I've been told by those who have that no one-liners were being used. I guess it means they had more room for sketches.

It is odd that no-one seems to have got an e-mail for Sunday's show. Ah well let's hope that like Steve Sunshine last week no news is good news for some of us.

Hello - I saw someone on Twitter said they'd received an email yesterday to say they'd got a sketch into the show this weekend.

Is 'Bonzo' the Sumerian herald of despair?

:D

Is it history this week?

I suppose if you have a sketch in the final edit they will email you to let you know...I assume...maybe...

I feel sorry for the Sumerians having heralds named after dogs which feature on postcards...

Herald singular, please.

Not all Sumerian mythological entities saw postcard fame - though Gnasher the Harbinger of Chaos and Nipper the God of Song both found longevity in other forms.

Herald singular, please.

If it can have one herald named after a dog, surely it can have another?

So today is the day they sent out the recorded-and-cut emails for the sci-fi episode!

I also managed to send all my sketches for the other episodes 40 minutes after the deadline...

Ah I see Gavin Webster is in the cast.
I've met him a few times when I used to work at a Comedy club.
He's a nice chap & a funny guy.

it is indeed 'sci-fi cut' day. I opened an email that I thought was a "you're in"for this week's recording, only to discover it was the bad news on my sci-fi sketch. Never before has one email sent me in such a rollercoaster of emotion in the space of one second! (that sounds like a set up for a one liner...)

Which sketch was it? I've not heard either way, but can sympathise with your rollercoaster.

it is indeed 'sci-fi cut' day.

"Luke, I am your mother..."

"It's life, Jam, but not as we know it."

Is this still going?

Deadline has passed now, was late March.
