Doctor Who... Page 994

They had atleast one gay companion for over half a season though, which in my book puts it ahead of Startrek.

Jack? Technically bisexual. But at the same time mega gay.

You know he don't seem to go for the ladies much...

Well, men are much sexier. FACT.

Hey Zooo why did you have the sex change?

How did the guy in Prison get his information at the start by the way?

Seems like a dropped scene, that. They realised you didn't need it in the ep, you got the message that the Whispermen had told him, because he mentions them right at the start. Obvs some people seemed to miss that.

Cricket? bloody Daily Mail is so full of reactionary shit, anyway most of their readership are bigoted small minded idiots.

I do find it odd that right (as in correct)-minded people quote the Daily Mail, holding their hands up in horror at the appalling sentiments expressed.
It's a bit like berating Mein Kampf for it's right-wing agenda.

It is toilet-paper and therefore is destined to be smeared in shit.

Haaven't watched it. If the whispermen knew isn't that enough, or is the really terrifying nature of the whispermen that they go round whispering secret information to people? And given thatthat's what they it isn't really the biggest secret in the universe and how did they know... etc etc. It's not Great Intelligence is it really? :)

Why did the Great Intelligence take Jenny's dead body all the way to Trentreznoralore? Kind of pointless, other than a clunking plot device to get Jenny there because Moffat can never kill any characters and had to have her at hand to bring back to life for a syruppy climax.

I'm afraid you will have to wrestle with all that on your own Marc, I'm not here to improve your viewing experience! :P Just know that I of course do have all the answers but I am keeping them too myself. I definitely do.

Didn't really know much about The Great Intelligence, so did a search ( as you do)
Didn't realise that it was first created (in part) by Henry Lincoln, "Holy Blood Holy Grail" nutter.
And, a question for the experts, was the Lovecraftian element retro-fitted by Gaiman later on , or was it always there?

By Gaiman? Are you talking about his Cyberman episode there??

Doh!
Can't find the reference again!!
But I think I must have got 'lost in the web' as it now looks like that the Lovecraft connection comes from an old Andy Lane Dr. Who novel...
i just rather liked the idea of the "Holy Blood" guy sowing his mystical seeds that early on in the series - but it seems not.

Technically he was omnisexual and uber-gay, but you're close enough.
