I've got all their albums.

Hurt is more than 63, he is a few months older than me, according to IMDB.

OK - I can't count. 73! Even more older than Hartnell was then.

Those fix were better than anything in the show

I reckon Chappers is probably on his first incarnation.
I'm just basing that on the hair colour.

That's right. I get younger with time.

So we are in for more Moffat manure for the foreseeable future ;(. As he confirms he will be around for series 8 and beyond.

Doctor Who is so rubbish now!

It was a great episode of New Who.
Although I couldn't quite get what the million Clara's actually did apart from shouting Doctor!

It was a definite love letter to the fans, as the anniversary special will undoubtably be.
The classic Who bits & old Doctors appearing was fun & interesting to see.

The Sontaran character is great comic relief, and was good in the episode
Closure on River "Hello Sweetie" Song may have come as a relief to many as well.

I've enjoyed the series as much as any.
Asylum of the Daleks & Angels Take Manhattan Have been my favourites
But Hide & Cold War were pretty strong, and there were none that I'd call duffers.
Obviously they were all a bit rubbish in certain ways. but that's Doctor Who Old & New.

He's confirmed for the next series, and that he takes it year by year; so no definite yes beyond next year.

It was only when I rewatched a bit of the show that I realised River was dead.

When you're story telling is so muddled, you can kill off probably the second most iconic character of the recent run. Then there is something badly wrong with your script.

The latest episode? It was clear to me which River it was, as she told us!

Also, what is muddled about killing a character?

I managed to pick up that subtext when she mentioned it
