Under the radar

I love Adult Swim, but hardly any one else seems to watch it.

Especially, Venture Brother, Sea Lab 2021 (Murphy edition), Aqua Teen Hungerforce.

Any one else got a favorite show that slid under the radar?

n.b. I may be changing my name to The Drizzle.

Adult Swim rocks... I love Space Ghost: Coast to Coast! So funny!

Ditto!

YES! Venture Bros is in my top 5 favorite shows and probably my most anticipated show for the next series. I wish more people would watch it. It's just soooo darn funny without relying on stupid shock or nostalgia jokes like some other hit cartoons I won't mention.
On the other side of that is Robot Chicken which is exactly what I said Venture Bros didn't rely on, BUT it at least does it well. Some episodes are down right messed up but others are PURE gold. I recently started watching Frisky Dingo that shows got it's funny moments. ATHF is funny (except the movie which I thought was very unfunny).
They also have a lot of shit and don't know what people find them funny for? Like Squidbillies, 12 oz Mouse, Assy McGee and Tom Goes the Mayor.
Old stuff of their's I love is Harvey Birdman that was really funny and of course Sealab.

I'm being educated on these at the moment. Saw some Robot Chicken last night -very funny. And I'm going to be shown Harvey Birdman soon enough! :)

12 oz Mouse is very, very bad, but I think Perfect Hair Forever wins the title of Worst of the Worst. I get the feeling that the makers of these two particular shows are under the impression that the fact that they're not very funny, somehow makes them funny, in a so-bad-it's-good sort of way. Bad animation I can put up with, but when it's coupled with bad writing, I ususally switch off.

F**king hell.

What is wrong now?

I would have to say that Adult Swim content is perhaps the only real surreal comedy that the US puts out (I wonder how long it will take someone to quote "the US puts out" for a joke?). In comparison to the grand surreal comedy comming out of other countries in particular (of course) the UK.

Robot Chicken is a laugh 15 minutes or something retarded, they do like 2 good sketches a show. Sealab used to be funny, Its all very much of a muchness

Sealab the star died, and so did the show.

Harvey Birdman is quite funny, but used to be hilarious. Shaggy and Scooby busted for dope smoking, Fred FLinstone as Tony Soprano, and of course the Una-Boo boo (I always knew Yogi was gay).

But what shows have you lot watched, that I have missed?

YES those were all my favorite episodes too. The Shaggy Scooby one was the best!

VENTURE BROTHERS!!! If you liked those two shows you just mentioned you will love VB. It has the most money put into it out of any of the Adult Swim cartoons and is their first proper animation. It plays of the Jonny Quest cartoons doesn't rely on them. Like I said...one of my favorite shows on tv.

I love Venture Brothers,

"Hank's gone to his room, he screamed hit me with a cardboard sword, and then peed his pants,"

"Have you considered a career in henching,"

I love Dr Girlfriend, even that husky voice.

Well I know what you were doing last night, missy. And to think there was some kind of robotic chicken involved... YOU'RE SICK! :O
