Is this the most mental sitcom of all time?

And if it isn't, which one was more mental?

I checked that wasn't a cleverly produced spoof. Sally Field keeps that one quiet.

Oh like I;d try and fool you!

...It's certainly a contender!

"It's a Dog's Life" was a 1979 sitcom pilot starring men and women in dog's and cat's costumes, making it look like a bad predecessor of Wilfred (At least the singing and dancing women in cat costumes might have inspired Andrew Lloyd Webber for a musical): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxcjvXHWdgk

Another contender might be "My Mother The Car": http://blip.tv/RowdyReviewer/tv-trash-my-mother-the-car-3735815

I was going to suggest "Cows"--that Eddie Izzard pilot for a sitcom, but no. The Flying Nun has to be the most mental sitcom of all time, and that's just from watching the intro.

I vaguely remember this, so I guess it must have gone out during Kids TV or a Saturday/Sunday afternoon spot.

How can you VAGUELY remember something like this? It's a nun, flying!

Maybe he thought it something clerical aloft?

WELL, I don't actually recall a single frame of that particular sequence.
But I DO remember watching a programme about a flying nun.

Or I dreamt it.

In those sweat soaked nightmares, when I wake screaming and nothing can comfort me.

Why? Why? Why did I push all those nuns off of a cliff?

You just wanted to see if penguins could fly.
