Doctor Who... Page 981

Phwoar.

Didn't Smith said he wasn't "The Doctor" though, even if the graphic said otherwise? I thought they were suggesting that was his original body, before the time travelling and time war etc. Or that he was a future Doctor, which I can't really imagine him doing for more than the special.

It wasn't too bad an episode, but it was only the last five minutes which were intriguing.

I wish somebody would die in Doctor Who and stay dead. It undermines any tension knowing they'll be back in a couple of scenes. Other than that a watchable little episode although the Great Intelligence wasn't that smart at all. Quite dim, in fact.

If we're allowed captions anyway, couldn't we have some sort of written explaination onscreen? (This is getting very Hitchhikers Guide...)

So that was a brilliant topper to an up and down half series. Loved Hide, The Crimson Horror and this finale, some of the others were a bit ropey.

Do we know anything about next series yet? Will in be in two sections again?

We don't, other than it won't be until next year.

I imagine that we will then say goodbye to Smith and Moffat.

BYE!

Although they should let Moffat comeback and do the odd Blink.

And even though I don't LOVE Smith, I'll miss him when he's gone.

He's a past Doctor, between Paul McGann and Christopher Eccleston, the one who blew up Gallifrey or whatever. He didn't go by the name "The Doctor", but it was the same bloke. That was my read, anyways.

Oh.

When John Hurt turned around I said 'Ooh Gandalf'. Totally thought it was Ian McKellan. They do look like bloody twins though.

Laughing out loud

I reckon that's the real reason they put his name up on the screen...
