Fantastic hungry performance from Wigan. They pissed all over City despite some lack of finesse at times. That said, City showed almost no class at all with their main strategy seemingly barging Wigan off the ball when they got near the goal.

Al-Habsi would have let that Tevez slice in, though. Really happy for them and Dave.

Haven't watched the game yet but glad Wigan played the way they can and won it.

Agree about City, every time I watch them I'm underwhelmed and surprised by their high placing. Mancini's just another Italian who can't convert to the English style.

I was hoping City would win by a large margin. Wigan will now be up in confidence which won't help us in the relegation fight. Big day today at QPR.

I hope Wigan beat Arsenal tomorrow; only cos there is then a winner-takes-all battle with Villa to end the season on!

Though it would have to go some to beat the ending in the Brentford-Doncaster all-or-nothing decided in League One a couple of weeks back!

Dan

Did you not see the Watford Leicester caper yesterday? It was even better.
I think Wigan are gone, but if the beat Arsenal it will make a great last day.
I have to admit that the end of the Championship has been as good as watching the Premier entertainment wise and I am really looking forward to the play offs.

Bradford City are in the play-off final against Yoevil. That means that the Bantams will have played more times at Wembley in the last 3 months than Arsenal have in the last 14 years.

Come On Chelsea.!!!!!!!

Still two goals behind though and time running out. Some lovely football though.

Three! Shit. Lovely goal though.

Oh well. Hard luck Chelsea but well done Norwich. FA Youth Cup Final if you don't know what this is.

And well done Palace.

Got a soft spot for Watford because of Zola but if they go up they'll have trouble getting enough players apparently.

Looking forward to the Europa League final. Haven't watched the final of that since Fulham got there a few years back. Chelsea have got to be the faves, right?

And professional footballers complain about 2 games a week.

This was Guersey FC's fixture list for April - with a bit of help from Matt Le Tissier.
